We will be launching our second boutique, Freddy B, in Fall 2021. Freddy B is a brand new, Poughkeepsie-based boutique that focuses on the trendy, fashion-forward Gen Z and Millennial customer.

We will be conducting open interviews on Saturday, 8/28/21. Please read through the full-time/part-time positions below to see if you could be a fit for Freddy B! 

This will be a 15-minute "1st impression" interview that allows us to get to know each other better. Please come prepared with your resume and schedule of availability starting August-January. Be ready to introduce yourself and be prepared to ask us 3 questions!

SALES STYLIST

Duties:

  • Assist customers in all aspects (answer questions, make recommendations, start dressing rooms, etc.)
  • Work the Point of Sale which includes, but is not limited to, checking customers out, processing returns, entering/updating customer information, promoting events, rewards programs, promotions, services, etc.
  • Process and ship all online orders
  • Maintain the expected level of store presentation (organizing racks, covering foams, updating face-outs, mannequins, window displays, etc.)
  • Steam clothing inventory
  • Curate social media content (ex. Instagram reels, Tik Tok’s, etc.)
  • Maintain updated knowledge of all store policies, promotions, events, etc.
  • Answer store phone calls, text messages, and emails
  • Weekly cleaning duties

This position requires:

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Sense of urgency and a strong work ethic
  • Team player who takes initiative
  • Fluency in all social media (Instagram, Instagram reels, Tik Tok, Snapchat, etc.) and
  • Comfortable both in front of and behind the camera
  • Physical demands: on your feet and interacting with customers daily, moving, lifting, etc.
  • We are open 7 days a week, which includes weekends and some holidays, so flexibility is required (the schedule will vary). Looking for a minimum of a 1-year commitment.
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
  • We are willing to train the right person

RECEIVING AND INVENTORY ASSISTANT

Duties:

  • Receive and process all inventory (pull original order, check-in items, price items, enter into system, steam, tag, etc.)
  • Maintain online store with new products (take photos of products, write product descriptions, etc.)
  • Update and maintain all vendor contact and mark-up information
  • Maintain inventory levels of bags, boxes, etc., and communicating to Assistant Manager when orders need to be placed
  • Maintain updated knowledge of all store policies, promotions, events, etc.
  • Weekly cleaning duties

 This Position Requires:

  • Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
  • Sense of urgency and a strong work ethic
  • Elevated writing skills and verbal communication
  • Tech savvy (Adobe Illustrator experience a plus)
  • Team player who takes initiative
  • Comfortable behind the camera taking photos
  • Physical demands: on your feet daily while moving, lifting, etc.
  • Open 7 days a week. Weekend & holiday availability and flexibility required. Schedule will vary. Looking for a minimum of a 1 year commitment.

     SOCIAL MEDIA/MARKETING COORDINATOR + BOUTIQUE STYLIST

    Elizabeth Boutique is a friendly, customer first Poughkeepsie boutique, looking for an energetic, fashion-loving part or full-time social media/marketing coordinator + boutique stylist to join our team! Must be flexible and be able to work weekends + some holidays.

    Duties:

    • Assist in maintaining store display
    • Create a weekly plan for all social media (posts, stories, lives, etc.)
    • Curate and create content for the week (posts, stories, lives, emails, sales, promos, events, announcements, new arrivals, etc.), and communicate effectively on all platforms (IG, FB, Emails, etc.)
    • Effectively communicate all sales, events, promos, etc. to team
    • Update all platforms with current info (Google, Yelp, FB).
    • On top of all social media updates and changes, find ways to engage customers
    • Use planner to schedule/track/ document all events, emails, etc.

    This position requires:

    • A creative team member who is available to work in-store
    • Tech savvy, fashion forward, and comfortable with a camera
    • Obsessed with all social media
    • Strong eye for design
    • High attention to details
    • Flexible and willing to help with projects big and small
    • Experience designing graphics + marketing materials a plus
    • Willing to get creative and pitch ideas
    • Candidate MUST have experience with social media (Facebook, Instagram (Stories + Reels), Pinterest)
    • Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, Constant Contact, Shopify, Graphic Design a PLUS!
